The latest UMiDiGi X comes with a massive drop down in price. So, let’s find out with this UMiDiGi review that why it’s worth it to buy now and what are the features you can get within a budget price.

Well, UMiDiGi X is another budget phone that offers people some exclusive features without an expensive price tag. Today, we are going to do a full UMiDiGi X review to find out the good and the bad and see if this could be a suitable choice for you.
When the smartphone was released, it was reasonably expensive, but now you can buy this phone around (200-250) USD. And for that price, it does offer some impressive specs. Let’s check out them one by one.
Umidigi X Unboxing
If we start with unboxing, I was actually awestruck here because we do get some excellent packaging quality for such a budget device. First, in the box, we get the phone itself inside a protective case.
The phone also comes with a screen protector pre-installed. Next, we get a package containing the instruction manual along with the sim removal tool. Finally, we get the USB wall charger and a USB type C cable.
Design
This smartphone is thick around 8.1 mm and weighs 195 grams, a bit heavy that I have to admit, but unlike the models from Xioami. Besides, it does have a really sturdy and thick aluminum frame while back is glossy black with a combination of red that really gives it a premium look comparing to the budget.
On the back, there is a fingerprint magnet that attracts a lot of smudges. I highly recommend you to put a case on it to avoid significant smudges. On the contrary, the UMiDiGi X does not use a gorilla glass protection on the back. So, safety is entirely on you.

Screen
The thing that you will instantaneously love about the phone is the 6.35 inch AMOLED display, with HD plus resolution 720p. The pixel density is about 269 PPI. I was surprised to its super-bright display, maybe even the brightest that many money can buy.
Is it sharp as Mi A3? Not the same nearly since Mi A3 does have a smaller display. Smaller resolution logically fits better those dimensions in regards to sharpness. The screen is vivid and very colorful. With the screen viewing angles, you can enjoy more wide gaming experience that you may can’t on other budget experience.
Besides, there is no significant input lag with the touch sensitivity and hectic vibration while typing is on a different level. Nonetheless, the vessel in four corners of the display is much thinner than expectation to enhance your viewing experience.

Performance
The X gives you more storage while Mi A3 only comes with 64 GB storage. Speed-wise, UMiDiGi X, with its Android stock experience, is really good and it’s merely competent enough to open apps and games very fast.
You will find the latest Android 9 PI version with two months old security patch. Don’t ask me about the Android 10 because I don’t know what this phone will get that upgrade in the future.
Talking about gaming, in PUBG, it runs really good in balanced graphics. But if you go higher, you will feel lags. But it any sense, it’s a good gaming phone due to having DDR 4x and 128 gigs massive storage with SD card support.

Camera:
Moving on the camera specifications, it has a triple camera, primary sensor 48 megapixels Samsung sensor. Also, you are getting the Def sensor and third sensor, which is a new ultra-wide-angle lens. Again, it’s sporadic to find it even for this price tag.
The primary camera takes beautiful sharp shots. And as usual, your photo result will be celebrated in daylight but for the night? Come on! Don’t expect that much from a budget phone. However, they claimed that it supports photography in the night as well.
What is attractive more is that UMiDiGi X does have better video stability in camera than Xiaomi Mi A3. Undoubtedly, X will give you better samples than its nemesis. But the bad thing is the main or stock camera does not support a 4k resolution. Although still, you can hook up with 1080p.For in selfie camera, it has 16 megapixels, which is not bad at all.

Battery Life
UMiDiGi built in a way to support heavy uses. That’s why; you won’t feel empty after a harsh day of use. For supporting that rough uses, the smartphone comes with a 4,150 mAh battery. Even if you run out of power, there is 18-watt Type-C charger to bring the power again within a short time.
In the case of moderate uses, it will last a whole day and heavy uses like gaming will be supported around 4-5 hours depending on the apps you have on the phone.

Connectivity:
UMiDiGi got many reviewers attention when first heard about its in-display fingerprint sensor. Admittedly, that’s aninfrequent feature in a budget phone.
On the other hand, it came up with gyroscope, light, proximity sensor, 4G and a huge list of LTE band support, which will boost up both regular and gaming using experience. This is where Umidigi X wins the most usable phone in the world for LTE bands.
There are a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a charging port on the upper left of the body, unlike regular middle one. And again good news, it supports two sim card slots.

UMiDiGi X – The Verdict
Comparably, UMiDiGi X has all-embracing features at a budget-friendly price. You may find lots of options in other smartphones but not at that price. Since, UMiDiGi is competing in the way of Xiaomi, in future; we could see strong competitive models from them as well.
However, after my grinding with the in-depth UMiDiGi X review, it’s obvious to say that, it is the best budget phone in the market in the current scene.
